BARCELONA 2049

What would Barcelona be like in 30 years time, in 2049, if mankind disappeared? What are the fragilities of cities? How would nature return in our absence?

The CCCB’s educational programme invites secondary school pupils and teachers to a session in which we shall use the available computing tools and the scientific information on the species around us, but also our imagination, which will enable us to recreate what our neighbourhoods would be like in a deserted Barcelona. The projects (including drawings, animations and videos) that offer a more interesting perspective of this city without humans will be displayed at the end of this interdisciplinary session.
