Jordi Salat i Umbert

A versatile researcher, working especially on the aspects of physical oceanography that have an impact on the marine environment and what surrounds it: water masses and circulation, link between oceanic dynamics and the marine populations and their exploitation, and exchanges with the atmosphere and links to the climate, with experience in the gathering, processing and analysis of oceanographic data to understand physical processes. Many of his studies have been addressed to the western Mediterranean basin and some regions of the Atlantic Ocean.
