Josep Enric Llebot

He has a PhD in Physical Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), he has been a professor of condensed matter physics at the University of Girona, and he is currently the professor of the same department at the UAB. He has directed the Environmental Study Centre, he has been the Generalitat of Catalunya’s Secretary for the Environment and Sustainability, and president of the IEC’s Catalan Society of Physics. He has published several books and has contributed to the media. Since 2016 he has been president of the Board of Trustees of the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici Nature Reserve. He was awarded the Cross of Saint George by the Generalitat of Catalunya (2016), among other distinctions.
