Maria Lluch
Staff scientist in the Biological Systems Design Group of the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). She has a degree and a PhD in Biotechnology, something that has enabled her to focus her career as a researcher on the engineering of bacteria in order to develop applications. Besides understanding the biology of the bacterium Mycoplasma pneumoniae, she aims to design this microorganism in the laboratory for the purpose of treating diseases of the lung.
