SERIES OF TALKS “TINTIN ON THE MOON”

The 50th anniversary of the arrival of the first manned space mission on the Moon is the ideal moment to reflect from the current perspective on the challenges that this feat has meant for mankind.

This series of talks offers us the chance to discover less well-known aspects of the Apollo missions, explained in person by some its protagonists, as well as current astrophysical knowledge about our satellite and the solar system that are fundamental in multiple contexts. We will also learn how many different authors had imagined what it might be like to reach the Moon, in some cases surprisingly close to the truth, through intrepid protagonists like the loveable Tintin. Finally, an astronaut will tell us what it now means to work in this profession and what challenges we face in space in the future.
