Xavi Giménez

Titular professor of the Department of Materials Science and Physical Chemistry of the University of Barcelona. He teaches environmental chemistry and the physical chemistry of materials, and researches into the computational simulation of chemical reactions and teaching innovation. He is the author of 100 scientific articles. As a scientific broadcaster, he has published The Air we Breathe (2013) and he writes the blog “Chemistry, air and environment”, in the journal Investigación y Ciencia. He regularly appears in the media (TV3, 8tv, BTV, Catalunya Ràdio, El País, La Vanguardia...) on subjects of scientific interest and the latest developments in universities.
