Elisabetta Broglio

Has a PhD in Marine Sciences and a postdoctoral degree on Scientific Information. She has gone from doing science in the laboratory to developing collaborative science projects. Since 2009 she has been experimenting different approaches to open the science of research centres up to citizens’ participation, first with the Observadors del Mar project, then with Saca la Lengua and now with Genigma3D. Her career and experience as a facilitator have led her to work with the Barcelona Citizen Science Office, for which in 2018 she became the manager of the practice community and of the transverse activities related to several actors in the city.
