Cecilia Kindelán Amorrich

PhD and Professor of Communication

University professor, PhD in Communication and graduate in Journalism and Law. She worked at IESE Business School as associate director of the MBA program and as the director of the international exchange program. Previously, she was deputy director of the Spanish Association of Executives (AED). After working 10 years at Universia, a higher education initiative of Banco Santander, in 2014 she moved to Canada where she worked for Saint-Paul University and later in Ecuador as professor and director of postgraduate programs at Universidad Internacional SEK (UISEK).

She holds a master's degree in Communication and Art, and a master's degree in Communication Management from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). She is a graduate of Harvard University Global System in Advanced Negotiation and Leadership, she has been a member of the research group on social responsibility of the Elcano Institute, a fellow of the Rafael del Pino Foundation, an evaluator of the National Academy for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) and a member of the international jury of the Educational Excellence Contest of the FIDAL Foundation.

She is currently a professor at the University of Barcelona (UB), where she lectures on strategic communication. She also teaches at Ubbiquo Global Business School, an international business school based in the USA, devoted to executive education. She is a founding member of the Rosalía Arteaga Women Foundation, where she has been involved in educational projects aimed at women and has participated in numerous national and international forums, with special emphasis on her activity with the international organization Horasis.
