Science and democracy
The fifth edition of the City and Science Biennial will take place again, and simultaneously, in Barcelona and Madrid, from 23 to 28 February 2027.
On this occasion, it will focus on the relationship and interdependence that exists between science and democracy.
The event represents the epicenter of science dissemination in Barcelona, and after the recent success of the last edition (18 – 25 November 2025) it is starting to warm up for next year.

Thematic axes
The central theme of this Biennial will be addressed from three main thematic axes and will be complemented by a transversal perspective that will link art, science and design.
