Researcher specialising in water quality and health at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal). Her research focuses on assessing human exposure to chemical contaminants in water and studying possible health effects. She coordinates national and international studies in this field focusing on different types of pollutants and various effects on health: on pregnancy, cancer, child health, biomarkers, etc. She also teaches Environmental Epidemiology at the University of Barcelona (UB), Master's degree in Global Health.
