Eva Sòria

Cultural manager specialized in intellectual property

PhD in Law with a doctoral dissertation about Contemporary Art and Intellectual Property at Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She is an Art Historian (UAB), holds a degree in Art Conservation in the Palazzo Spinelli and Juris Doctor Degree at the Golden Gate University with a specialization in Intellectual Property and International Law.

She interned at Unesco while in Law School and has extensive experience working in Arts Management for public institutions. She teaches Intellectual Property as an associate professor at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). She has given several talks, conferences and workshops on the subject of art and law. She is also a member of the Asociación Literaria y Artística para la defensa del Derecho de Autor (ALADDA), the Spanish chapter of the Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale (ALAI)

She is currently the director of Innovation, Knowledge and Visual Arts of the ICUB (City Council’s Culture Department).
