Laura Malinverni

Researcher and educator in fine arts and information technologies

Postdoctoral researcher with the Juan de la Cierva grant. She is a member of the Department of Visual Arts and Design of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona (UB) and a member of the research group Esbrina: subjectivitats, visualitats i entorns educatius contemporanis of the same university. Her research is focused on the relationship between technologies, education and creative processes, and she works as a researcher, educator and artist in different projects.

She holds a PhD in Information and Communication Technologies by Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), a Master in Cognitive Sciences and Interactive Media by UPF and a Bachelor of Fine Arts by the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. 

Alongside her academic activity, since 2008 she has worked as an educator in different projects related to non-formal education with technologies in art centers, schools and libraries. She is the founder of the association Cosicosa, dedicated to critical digital literacy. Her activity in the context of non-formal education with art and technology has received different recognitions and awards.
