The AmodiBCN project proposes a reflection on urban interventions and their effects on the social fabric. It does so based on the opinions of citizens about phenomena such as tourism and gentrification, which are approached from disciplines such as sociology or creativity in order to translate them into a physical space in the city.

This session about AmodiBCN includes two activities.

11 h - Presentation Inquiry into Urban Identity

The AmodiBCN  project of activities begins with an online survey of citizens asking them to express what they love and what they hate about their city. These responses will be used to generate content that will be analyzed by creators together with sociologists for the preparation of a report.

12 h - Round table Interventions and Urban Change: a Review

The AmodiBCN experience exemplifies the many interventions that are developed in our cities to somehow requalify certain urban areas. With this experience as a background, but without limiting ourselves to it, we propose a reflection on the results of these operations, including consequences such as gentrification or touristification.
