Intelligent livestock farming

By Pol Llonch, Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and Letizia Duboc, La Salle (URL).

Nowadays, we always have some kind of sensor at hand to help us monitor our activity: mobile phones, smartwatches, etc. Similarly, farm animals can be fitted with sensors that provide us with information on their well-being and let us know if they have stomach aches, fever... and even if they are being bullied by their peers!

Presented by Laura Diéguez Rodríguez, with the collaboration of the Associació Catalana de Comunicació Científica (ACCC).
