Archaeology is a multidisciplinary scientific discipline in which archaeologists specialized in various fields participate with the aim of reconstructing the past. Within this discipline we find bioarchaeology, which focuses on the organic remains of an archaeological site to obtain data, analyze them and interpret them.

In these sites, remains of wood, seeds, fauna, coals and others can provide valuable information to reconstruct the landscape, food and other aspects of different historical periods. What were the eating habits in the Barcelona of the past? What was their environment and landscape like in other times? Find out in this workshop and visit to el Born archaeological site.
