In 2009, the Stockholm Resilience Centre (SRC) developed the concept of "planetary boundaries". Within this concept, seven biophysical limits are identified that, if exceeded, can endanger life on our planet.

One of these is climate change, in which the way we produce and consume food plays a key role. Food systems contribute between 21% and 37% of greenhouse gas emissions. It is necessary to reduce this contribution and, at the same time, develop resilient systems capable of feeding us in a sustainable and healthy way.

In this conference, we will address the relationship between climate change and nutrition in the context of planetary boundaries.
