We live in a digital society. Technological advances are adopted almost without debate and we perceive them as new tools that have helped us in our daily lives.

Agriculture is no exception to this perception and this lack of debate. For this reason, it is necessary to ask ourselves whether all new technologies are beneficial, whether the impact generated by their development and manufacture compensates for their supposed benefit, or whether they increase our society's dependence on knowledge that is normally in the hands of very few agents, making us a more vulnerable society.

In this round table we will discuss new technologies and their development and implementation in the field of agriculture and food.
