The City and Science Biennial is an initiative promoted by Barcelona City Council through the Area of Culture, Education, Science and Community, specifically the Department of Science and Universities, and the Institute of Culture.
One of the competencies of the Area is the promotion of Barcelona as a city of science, connecting citizens with scientific research in the city through scientific dissemination, culture and education. The main communication channels for advancing this mission are the Barcelona Science website and its social networks.
Coinciding with the celebration of the City and Science Biennial, a new communication channel has been incorporated, the Science and Universities newsletter, which will bring scientific news to its followers on a monthly basis.
