The Ebro delta, as well as the other deltas, is considered an optimal laboratory for the study of global change, as changes are occurring here at an accelerated rate. Through the stories told by the protagonists of the documentary, the audience can connect with the evolution of the territory and the delta society over the last half century, as well as with their struggle, which began long before there was any talk of climate change. The witnesses are complemented by the contributions of experts from the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), which provides a global vision of the problems faced by areas particularly affected by changes, such as the deltas.

By Jordi Camp and Esther Garcés, from the ICM-CSIC, and Roberto Torres, from Science in your World. Activity organised in collaboration with the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) and Barcelona City Council.

The activity is part of the cycle Visions of Science Read science. More information on this link.
