What is a physicist doing studying neurodegenerative diseases? When we think of people who work in physics, we often think only of those who study space or subatomic particles, but this science is much more than that. This talk will reveal the contribution of physics to other fields, specifically in the study of the brain.

The talk will be given by Agnès Pérez-Millan, graduate in Physics and Master in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, currently working as a pre-doctoral researcher at the Alzheimer's Unit and other Cognitive Disorders of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and at the Bioengineering Unit of the University of Barcelona.
