Arturo Fernández Téllez
Physicist and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Physical-Mathematical Sciences of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), where he currently serves as General Director of Science Outreach. He holds a PhD in Physics from CINVESTAV-IPN (1991), conducted postdoctoral research at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (USA), and has collaborated with CERN, where he was appointed CERN Scientific Associate in 2007. A member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (Level III), he has received the Puebla State Science Award (2008) and the Mentes QUO 2011 recognition from Discovery Channel. With an h-index of 98, he is co-author of numerous publications and patents, and has supervised more than fifty undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral theses.
