Carlo Rovelli
Italian theoretical physicist and writer, founder of the Quantum Gravity Group at the Centre de Physique Théorique (CPT) of Aix-Marseille University, France. He is an international reference in the formulation of loop quantum gravity theory. In addition to his research, Rovelli has written several popular science books, including Seven Brief Lessons on Physics, Reality Is Not What It Seems, and The Order of Time. His works address themes such as the nature of time and the relationship between physics and philosophy. He has received awards such as the Lewis Thomas Prize (2024) and the Xanthopoulos Prize (1995). A strong advocate for the importance of science in society, Rovelli combines scientific rigor with philosophical reflection. His recent book, White Holes, explores the possible transformation of black holes into white holes. Rovelli stands out for his ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and to bridge science, philosophy, and culture.
