Born in Barcelona in 1988, he holds a degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona (2011) and a PhD in Quantum Physics from the same institution (2017). After completing his doctorate, he worked for two years as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom). Since 2020, he has focused his professional career on chess, a sport he has competed in since childhood. In addition to actively participating in tournaments, he regularly coaches promising students both privately and through the Catalan and Spanish Chess Federations. In 2010, he earned the title of Grandmaster, the highest distinction awarded by the International Chess Federation (FIDE).
