The Institut de Ciències del Cosmos (ICCUB) is a research institute belonging to the Universitat de Barcelona (UB). It is an interdisciplinary center dedicated to fundamental research in the fields of cosmology, astrophysics and particle physics. It has a solid technology program through its participation in international collaborations in observational astronomy and experimental particle physics. ICCUB was created in 2006 by bringing together professors and researchers working in various departments of the Faculty of Physics of the UB.
