Jorge Carrión Gálvez

Writer and cultural critic. He directs the Master’s in Literary Creation at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF-BSM) and is a regular contributor to La Vanguardia. He was a columnist for seven years at The New York Times and The Washington Post. He is the author of the novels The Dead, The Orphans, The Tourists, and The Deceased, gathered in the tetralogy The Footprints (Membrane), as well as All Museums Are Science Fiction Novels (Galaxia Gutenberg). He has also written several narrative essays, hosted the podcasts Solaris, Ecos, and Bessons digitals, the documentary series Booklovers, and created various graphic novels and art exhibitions. He has received, among others, the Ondas Award, the City of Barbastro Novel Prize, the City of Badajoz Journalism Prize, the Zenda Innovation Award, and the Serra d’Or Critics’ Prize. His work is published by Galaxia Gutenberg and has been translated into fifteen languages.
