The SGAE (Societat General d'Autors i Editors) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the collective defense and management of intellectual property rights in the performing arts, audiovisuals and music. It has more than 120,000 members (authors, music publishers and heirs) and represents more than 4 million "rights holders" with a repertoire of more than 80 million works in 180 countries.
