In a time when emotion seems to matter more than verification, art and design help us think about how science and technology are explained. Images and illustrations make the invisible visible, but they also raise doubts: do they clarify or confuse? The fourth edition of the City and Science Biennial took place simultaneously in Barcelona and Madrid, between November 18 and 23, 2025. And it was also extended with a special edition of science programming within the framework of the Guadalajara International Book Fair, held between November 29 and December 7, 2025.

Science has often lived somewhat isolated from the general public. Studies or new discoveries made with advanced calculations or observations in the laboratory are not transmitted in an understandable way, in most cases. Opening these discoveries in an understandable way to the entire public promotes curiosities and also new vocations, and above all, democratizes knowledge.
