Computer engineer and full professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC), specializing in artificial intelligence and computational statistics. She is co-founder and director of the Intelligent Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IDEAI) research center, and since 2023 has served as Dean of the Official College of Computer Engineering of Catalonia. She has advised the European Commission on ethics and AI and contributed to the development of the Catalan Government’s Strategic Plan for Artificial Intelligence. She leads the Top Secret Rosies training platform, aimed at women in STEAM fields. In 2025, she was included in Forbes’ list of the 100 most influential women in Catalonia and received the Medal of Honor from the Parliament of Catalonia for her work in the ethical and responsible governance of artificial intelligence.
