Head of the Quantum Technologies Sector at the European Commission, where he leads strategic initiatives to position Europe as a global leader in the field. He has a strong background in both academia and public sector innovation, having served as Head of the Data Centre at the European Medicines Agency in London, and is currently an Associate Professor at IE University in Madrid. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Master’s in Electronic Open Government from the University of Stockholm. His work focuses on promoting scientific excellence, supporting industrial innovation, and strengthening Europe’s competitive edge in quantum technologies.
