Science Night, quantum and technology continue on Saturday evening
On Saturday, November 22, the City and Science Biennial offers a series of evening and nighttime activities for all audiences. From scientific monologues to sound performances, interactive demonstrations and guided tours, this year's edition promises a unique experience to explore the mysteries of quantum physics and technology in a fun and educational way.
El Born. The History Museum of Barcelona will host these activities, starting at 7:30 p.m., which include diverse proposals for all ages and interests. Below is a brief description of each of the scheduled activities:
Absurd Matter
A science outreach show by the Big Van company, with mathematician and publicist Eduardo Sáenz de Cabezón. Through monologues, improvisation and interaction with the audience, attendees will be able to discover the secrets of quantum physics, while enjoying a fun and humorous approach.

The Quantum Life of Elementary Particles and Presentation of the Cosmic Piano
An interactive activity that introduces the world of elementary particles and their "quantum life". Attendees will enjoy a demonstration of the Cosmic Piano, an instrument that converts cosmic ray muons into music and light, combining art and science.

On Inaudibility of Quantum Sounds
A sound performance that explores the imperceptible world of quantum physics. Through the sonification of experimental data and simulations, composer Reiko Yamada and cornetist Artur Majewski create a poetic and reflective experience about perception and silence.

Dorkbot Barcelona: People doing weird things with electricity (and quantum computers)
A hybrid session between science, art and technology where researchers and artists will explore quantum computing and its application in digital creation. Sound experimentation, music and visuals created in real time will offer a unique experience of livecoding with quantum computers.

"Quantum Dealers". Guided tour of the City and Science Biennial exhibition
A special 45-minute guided tour of the Biennial exhibition, where the guide will take you on a tour of the Born site, offering a performative interpretation of art, science and technology. This activity reflects on issues such as traceability and visibility, with an unusual and provocative approach.
