The audio format has always been a vehicle for the imagination. From radio and radio plays, the voice has had the power to build complete worlds in the listener's mind. Science fiction, in particular, has found a perfect ally in this format, as Orson Welles' 'War of the Worlds' demonstrated. With mobile technology, this format has resurfaced with force, freeing us from the screen and allowing us to explore stories at any time and place. Writer and screenwriter Julio Rojas, author of the award-winning audio series 'Caso 63' (Rose d'Or Award for Best Podcast 2024 and Ondas Award 2022 for Best Podcast), will address the narrative keys of audio fiction in the specific case of science fiction, an ideal format for testing ideas and building narrative universes without the restrictions of visual production.
