Since the beginning of time, women have been actively involved in the development and transmission of knowledge. Without women, there would be no science. This tour will review some of the female figures in the history of science and the scientific principles related to their discoveries. The visit will analyse the often invisible role of these women researchers in the advancement of society, both now and over the centuries.

Many women have been key figures in science, but often we have not known them or the value of their contributions until many years later. Sometimes they have not even received recognition. The educational objectives of this activity are to discover women in the history of science and their contributions, to analyse and understand some of the historical achievements made by women and to understand the effective value of gender equality for the progress of knowledge.
